Hello Friends!

We are so glad you are here! This is Monica & Greg, the proud owners of Lakeview Heights. This is our family mountain retreat in Blue Ridge, GA and we could not be more excited to share it with you! Regardless of where you are traveling from, our number one goal is to make sure you love our home as much as we do and that you feel like it’s your second home as well (even if it’s only for a brief stay)!

We found Blue Ridge, GA when Monica decided to surprise Greg one year for his birthday and take the family on a trip for a mountain getaway. We live in the Jacksonville, FL area and Monica wanted a destination that was an easy drive, had a cool small town vibe with amazing outdoor activities but still had great dining and other downtown options. And of course, we wanted stunning views! Blue Ridge checked all those boxes for us!

Our first visit was very successful! Not only did we experience all of those things, we made memories to last a lifetime. We hiked, picked apples from local orchards, visited vineyards, went tubing down the Toccoa river, went on a helicopter ride, trout fished on Lake Blue Ridge, dined at some amazing restaurants…the list goes on!

We are parents to Ella, age 8, and Hannah, age 6, and what matters most to us is creating those special moments with them that will last well into adulthood. Blue Ridge proved to be the perfect getaway with our two daughters and after a few more visits the following year, we were determined to find our own special place to purchase and call our own.

Greg is a real-estate broker in Florida and spearheaded the family’s efforts to find that forever legacy investment our children’s children could one day enjoy. We spent the next 2 years searching until we finally found Lakeview Heights. The search was not easy as we wanted a home that stood out from the rest and I think once you’ve stayed here you’ll agree this home is special!

From the moment we walked inside, we knew this was it. The views were the BEST views we had ever seen in Blue Ridge and the proximity to town made it the perfect fit. After purchasing the home we went to work upgrading and adding square footage to allow enough space for the perfect family retreat.

In our home, we took pride in the furnishings and decor. Monica work relentlessly to design a space she and our kids could comfortably live in year-round and we hope that shows. No detail was left out —it was definitely a labor of love that we feel produced the perfect mix of laidback and luxury in the mountains!
